Our roe deer hide without fur is the chew for all Buddies who love nature – but without hair between their teeth.
Pure roe deer, intense in taste, long-lasting and free of additives. For strong chewers and real adventure in the mouth. Our snack inspectors tested it: crunchy, wild and demanded again in no time.
- 100% roe deer – monoprotein, a single animal protein source
- Long-lasting chewing fun – for quiet moments and keeping busy
- Chewing instead of gulping – chewing can mechanically reduce fresh plaque, but does not replace a dental check at the vet
- Dried with air at 100 °C – heat-treated rather than raw, for better hygiene in the treat pouch and at home
- Resealable packaging – stays fresh longer
- Buddy-approved – tested by our snack inspectors. Now also approved by foster dog Bunny

Which dogs is this chew snack suitable for?
How long does a chew last my dog?
That depends on the dog: size, chewing style, routine. For many dogs, between 5 and 15 minutes. Elvis – one of our snack inspectors – is done in just under 5 minutes. Tripe and lung are not extremely hard. If your dog gulps, it's better to cut them into smaller pieces and supervise them.
How often should my dog get a chew treat?
Rule of thumb: Once to several times a week. For many dogs, 2-4 chews per week are perfectly fine; some can even tolerate a small one daily. What you don't want: the daily ration of their main food to be permanently unbalanced. If given more frequently, reduce the amount of food accordingly. For sensitive stomachs, allergy sufferers, or new protein sources: introduce slowly and observe.
Does it splinter? Is it safe?
Our tripe, lungs, skin, and ears do not splinter. This is one of the reasons why we offer them as chews - unlike cooked bones, which can break into sharp pieces. Nevertheless, always supervise your dog with any chew, especially dogs that tend to gulp. For very small dogs or puppies: break the piece into smaller parts beforehand.
Does that smell strong?
Rumen has an intense smell. This is not a defect; it is the nature of the product. Dogs love this very smell – for them, it's like freshly baked cake for us. For humans, it takes some getting used to. We recommend: storing chew snacks in a closed container or in the supplied resealable bag. Lungs are significantly less odorous than rumen.
